This cross stitch used Aida 18 and Anchor stranded cotton. Match
your cottons to the symbols use a piece
of punched card to thread your cottons through and mark the symbol next to
the appropriate colour.
Find the centre of the pattern and your material to start. Use three strands
of cotton for cross stitch and
one strand for back stitch outlining. Mark off your work on the chart as you
go and if possible use a hoop
to keep your work taut.
